Burrata & Stracciatella. Dal Molise

The burrata cheese consists of two parts. An outer layer of mozzarella and a creamy center of stracciatella. Like mozzarella, burrata is excellent in delicious salads, but can also be eaten as an accompaniment to Italian specialities.

A creamy mixture of cream and shredded mozzarella. Stracciatella has a good, fresh, and creamy taste that is very mild and incredibly delicious. Stracciatella is perfect as a dip for good bread, as a spread in a sandwich, as a topping on, for example, a pasta dish, a pizza, or as an element in a salad. And Stracciatella is also the filling in a Burrata.
