About us

DENCON FOODS A/S
We import and distribute meat from the larger part of the world to the retail- and foodservice markets throughout Scandinavia and Baltics. We handle all goods from our office and cold stores in Haderslev; have offices in Stockholm and Tallinn and deliver B2B throughout the Nordic region. Our vision is to be a value creating and innovative partner in the foodstuff industry - for both customers and suppliers. We strive to be a free and independent supplier of quality foodstuffs.

International supplier network
We have a close and longstanding partnership with more than 150 foreign suppliers. We always try to follow the market needs and trends. It is quality products that deliver the biggest sales successes for our customers and the best dining experiences for consumers.

Transport
Just as shipments from our suppliers, the shipment from our warehouse and cold store in Haderslev, Denmark, undergo the same controlled conditions - and with a focus on temperature control. We can deliver from a single sales unit to multiple containers.

Security
In DENCON FOODS, we place great importance on our customers to have confidence in our products. Therefore, we are constantly working with food safety and quality control - both at our suppliers and our cold store.

Environment
In recent years, we have invested in the newest technology for refrigeration plants, and thereby energy consumption and CO₂ emissions reduced to 60% of previous consumption. Furthermore, we have installed the newest technology for intelligent monitoring and control of temperature and power consumption. We are thus well prepared for the demands and expectations by the community when it comes to environmental impact and competitiveness.

Burrata & Stracciatella. Dal Molise

The burrata cheese consists of two parts. An outer layer of mozzarella and a creamy center of stracciatella. Like mozzarella, burrata is excellent in delicious salads, but can also be eaten as an accompaniment to Italian specialities. A creamy mixture of cream and shredded mozzarella. Stracciatella has a good, fresh, and creamy taste that is very mild and incredibly delicious. Stracciatella is perfect as a dip for good bread, as a spread in a sandwich, as a topping on, for example, a pasta dish, a pizza, or as an element in a salad. And Stracciatella is also the filling in a Burrata.
