About us
BjörnMat International AB is a company that for over 45 years has specialized in purchasing, processing, packaging and sales of mushrooms. We provide frozen and dried mushrooms as well as fresh forest mushrooms in season. In our assortment, we also have Semidried Tomatoes, from the Turkish company Niobe Fine Foods, which has become a real best seller in recent years. Our customers are wholesalers, restaurants and retailers and we provide different types of packaging depending on the purpose.

Fresh chantarelles
Chanterelles grow in deciduous and coniferous forests and are common throughout the country except in the inland areas of Norrland. The season is long, often the first chanterelles appear as early as June-July. If the night frost is not too severe, you can find them well into late autumn. Fry them in a pat of butter or add them to pasta or in a pie.
Garnish chantarelles
Chanterelles are a very popular edible mushroom that goes well with all mushroom dishes. They have a wonderfully fresh forest flavor that quickly develops if the mushroom is fried with a dollop of butter and onion.
Frozen mixed mushrooms
Our frozen mixed mushroom is a mixture of wild and grown mushrooms. It is suitable for risotto, sauces and stews. Contents: Oyster mushroom, Shiitake, Nameko, Cep and Chanterelle
Frozen Chantarelles
Our frozen Chantarelles is unprocessed and freshly frozen. The chantarelles are well-suited in a casserole or fried with onions and a big click of butter.

Dried black trumpet
Suitable for all types of cooking. Easy to dry for long-term storage. Feel free to cut off the lower part of the stem as it is often a bit “woody” in texture. Often grows in connection with oak and hazel, but also occurs in herbaceous coniferous forests. Excellent edible mushroom that is good for frying, stewing and in soups.
Tomato slices semidried
Semidried means reducing the water in the product by drying but mostly retaining its consistency. The tomato slices are then marinated to preserve and enhance the natural flavor. The tomatoes are soft and natural in consistency and should not be compared with sun dried tomatoes. Used with great advantage on pizzas and ready meals, such as salads and baguettes!
