SUSTAINABLE CHICKEN BREEDING SINCE 1997
At the family company Bjärefågel in Torekow AB, we are passionate about breeding Sweden’s best chicken. That is why we work actively with ethical animal husbandry and sustainability. Bjäre Chicken is Sweden’s only climate-certified chicken, which means that we have reduced our climate impact by 20-25 percent. Our breeders undergo independent certification through both Svensk Fågel (The Swedish Bird Association) and Svenskt Sigill (a Swedish organization that promotes quality, animal health, and sustainability). We are controlled by an external third party.

Bjäre chicken breast top fillets, ca 1 kg
Deep-frozen Bjäre chicken breast top fillets are the upper part of the chicken breast, with the lower portion removed. The product is skin-on, extra juicy, and easy to prepare and serve to guests. The skin becomes crispy and delicious when cooked.
Bjäre Chicken breast sous-vide, salt & pepper, ca 1 000 g
Breasts of Bjärekyckling cooked sous vide. Grill or fry to get colour and warmth. The perfect already cooked product for cafés and restaurants that want a quality product.
Lightly smoked Bjäre chicken breast with skin, ca 800 g
Our lightly smoked chicken breasts are ready to eat. They are salted and smoked with alder shavings, and then cooked until done. The chicken breasts have a mild taste that tastes well in salads, for example.
Chicken meatball, ca 2 500 g
A Swedish homemade classic with high meat content, made from Bjärekyckling and Swedish ingredients, except for potato fiber and spices. Does not contain any allergens or E-numbers. The product is fried traditionally (not deep-fried), with the energy taken from sustainable wind power. A meatball weighs about 15 g / piece. Our chicken meatballs are climate certified by Svenskt Sigill.
Chicken patties, ca 2 500 g

Ready-shredded chicken kebab is made from climate-certified Bjäre chicken and Swedish ingredients, except for spices. The product does not contain any unnecessary additives or E numbers and is free from allergens. Our climate-certified chicken kebab is a healthy product with natural ingredients and low-fat content.

Our chicken sausage is made from climate-certified Bjäre chicken and Swedish ingredients, with the exception of spices and potato starch. The product does not contain any unnecessary additives or E numbers and is free from allergens. The meat content is 80 percent and the product does not contain any unnecessary additives.

Our chicken schnitzel is made from climate-certified Bjäre chicken and have a high meat content. The product does not contain any unnecessary additives or E numbers and is free from allergens.
Fresh roasted Bjäre chicken stock, 2 750 ml
Chicken stock prepared as in a restaurant kitchen, contains only water, chicken carcass, chicken neck, onion, carrot, parsnip. Everything except parsnip is of Swedish origin 1.5 kg chicken yields 1 liter of stock.
