All products under the Kronfågel brand are raised and slaughtered in Sweden and come from one of our 46 farms with professional and proud breeders. Our fresh range is also farm-labelled - chicken with a home address, simply put!
46 Swedish farms
Chicken from Kronfågel comes from Swedish farms. There are dedicated farmers who work hard to raise the world's best chicken. Our 46 breeders are really all the same - they raise their chickens under some of the strictest animal welfare laws in the world. They have a lifestyle that has adapted to that of the chicken, so that you get the healthiest chicken possible. They often live close to the slaughterhouse to minimize transport distances and grow the grain themselves so that they get a mini cycle on the farm. In addition to legislation, the industry has a unique animal care program that sets even greater and more requirements than the legislation. All so that you who choose Kronfågel will feel that you are making a good choice.
Regardless of the farm, you can always be sure that the chicken was raised in the best way, by farmers who really love being farmers. The chickens must feel good all the way from hatching to slaughter. As a customer and consumer, you should always feel safe when using our products. That is our promise to you.
